UAV attacks have been reported in several cities overnight on Saturday

Ukrainian drones have struck two apartment buildings in the Russian city of Kotovsk, some 430 km (267 miles) to the southeast of Moscow, a regional governor has said.

A video from the scene shows that a drone had apparently flew straight into the window of a five-story building.

“Several people have been injured by broken glass,” Tambov region governor Yevgeny Pervyshov wrote on Telegram. He added a shelter has been prepared for the residents of the damaged apartments.

Telegram news channel Mash reported that at least five people were injured in Kotovsk.

Witnesses said they heard several loud explosions, including additional blasts after a drone had hit the building.

More than 15 drones were intercepted over the southwestern Voronezh region, Governor Aleksandr Gusev said.

Another drone attack was reported in Anapa, a tourist town on the Black Sea coast across from Crimea. Explosive UAVs also targeted western Belgorod region, damaging three houses in the village of Maysky, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
